Besides rewriting individual entries in the editor, Resumonk can rewrite your whole resume in one go while you bring it in — either by importing your LinkedIn profile or by uploading an existing resume file. This is part of the AI Plan.

  1. Start creating a resume from an existing source:

    • Choose Import from LinkedIn to bring in your LinkedIn profile, or

    • Choose Upload existing resume to upload a PDF or DOCX file.

Create Resume options: Import from LinkedIn, Upload existing resume, Add information manually
  2. On the import/upload form, tick the Rewrite with AI checkbox. The form shows how many additional credits the full-resume rewrite will cost before you continue, so there are no surprises. (If you're not on the AI Plan yet, this option is disabled and you'll see a link to unlock AI features.)

  3. Click Import Profile or Upload Resume. Resumonk first brings in your content, then — because you ticked the box — sends the whole resume through the AI in the background. A progress screen keeps you updated while it works; this can take a little while depending on the length of your resume.

  4. When it's done, you'll land on a preview where your resume is fully populated and rewritten. From there you can open it in the editor to fine-tune any entry — including running the per-entry Rewrite using AI and Get AI Suggestions actions again on anything you'd like to polish further.

Tip: importing or uploading also has its own base credit cost, and the AI rewrite is an optional add-on on top of that. Both amounts are shown on the form before you confirm.
