Resumonk's AI can rewrite the content of any resume entry for you, or suggest alternative ways to phrase it — without leaving the editor. These actions are part of the AI Plan. If you're on the Free or legacy Premium plan, you'll be prompted to unlock AI features the first time you try to use them.

  1. Open a resume in the editor and go to any entry that contains text — for example a role under Experience, a degree under Education, a project, or your Summary.

Edit Resume tab in the Resumonk editor
  2. Type or paste your content into the entry first. The AI actions stay disabled until the field has some text — you'll see the note "Please enter some text above for the AI actions to be enabled for this field" until then.

  3. Below the field you'll find two buttons:

    • Rewrite using AI — rewrites your current text. When the result appears, click Copy to Details to replace your text with it, or Close to discard it and keep your original.

    • Get AI Suggestions — shows alternative phrasings you can draw from. Use them as inspiration and close the panel when you're done.

Get AI Suggestions and Rewrite using AI buttons in the Resumonk editor AI-rewritten entry with Copy to Details and Close buttons
  4. For best results, run the AI more than once on an entry — incorporate its suggestions, then ask it to rewrite again. You can also trigger the AI on several entries at the same time to finish your edits faster.

  5. Each AI request uses credits from your AI Plan balance, and your remaining credits update after every request. If the AI is temporarily unable to process a request, no credits are deducted for it — just try again in a few moments.
