ABOUT THE TEAM
Angi is looking for a Salesforce Developer to play a key role on the Cloud Operations team. The successful candidate will develop and maintain strong relationships with teammates while ensuring delivery of high quality Engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, proven Apex and Java coding (within Salesforce components) and implementation capabilities, strong business acumen, and an innate drive to deliver results. This developer will be a self-starter and team player with a collaboration-oriented mindset.
What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions on the Force.com platform, using Apex, Visualforce and Salesforce Lightning functionality. You’ll often leverage HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies and will be responsible for partnering with support and product teams to enhance the business as needed.
Create and manage Salesforce standard/custom objects, fields, and Flows
Communicate well with various audience members that have varying technical abilities
Understand customer requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extensible and maintainable
Work with operations team(s) and other stakeholders to define scope of development efforts
Communicate with team members and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
Create custom report types, custom reports, and dashboards
Read, create, and edit existing APEX triggers, classes, and explain full functionality and results to team members and customers alike
Have and maintain knowledge of custom apps
Develop and maintain custom Lightning Components that serve the needs of the business
Leverage the Salesforce web service API as needed
Maintain proper code coverage across the Salesforce instance. Work with team members to validate and test code before deployment to production
Who you are:
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing issues
Strong focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning development (SFDC Developer or Admin Certification preferred)
Play a key role evaluating and integrating managed packages and plans for their implementation
Solid knowledge of SOQL and SOSL
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A team player with a collaboration-oriented mindset is essential
APEX related courses provided by Salesforce.com are preferred
Strong experience with Salesforce Lightning/Lightning Design System
Experience with AGILE/SCRUM development methodology and practices is preferred
Familiarity with JIRA and MuleSoft would be a bonus
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary band for this position ranges commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living
