Kard is actively seeking a Merchant Sales Director in the Restaurant Vertical to expand our network of merchant brands for our issuer partners. In this role you will be in charge of signing/closing new brand partnerships and expanding existing partnerships.
You’ll be responsible for:
Routinely bringing well-known consumer-facing restaurant merchants to the Kard platform (think companies like Wendy’s, Popeyes, Starbucks, and DoorDash)
Identifying new partnership opportunities based on competitor landscape and overall marketing goals of our merchant partners
Working with the product team to develop solutions that will benefit our merchants
Creatively brainstorming new angles and campaigns for our existing partners, account management as needed while we grow the team
You’ll have:
Several big name consumer-facing brand partnerships closed in your past roles
Relevant experience in card-linked offer sales for national merchants
A self-starter mentality - you’re ok with building the process out as we grow
Experience doing whatever it takes to get your foot in the door without needing associates to work for you (until we build out the team even more to support you and the rest of the sales team!)

Contacts at household brand names across the restaurant vertical that you can close quickly
Early stage startup experience
Base salary range is $110-130k, depending on experience
