Astria is a shared sequencer network that replaces centralized sequencing, allowing many rollups to share a single decentralized network of sequencers thatâs simple and permissionless to join. The shared sequencer network provides out-of-the-box censorship resistance and fast block confirmations.

Our team combines traditional experience in building and scaling teams at technology companies like Google and Meta, with crypto native experience from the most impactful businesses and protocols. We are backed by the leading crypto native investors including Maven11, 1kx, and Delphi Digital. 

We are remote first, and employees arenât required to live in any specific timezone. English is our primary language, and employees are expected to be generally available between 10 AM and 2 PM Mountain Time (MT). 

About the Role

Astria is seeking a Community Lead to collaborate closely with leadership. Responsibilities include building the Astria community and structuring our social media. This candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing to communicate updates on Astriaâs products and services and empower users to learn and build.

The ideal candidate can work independently as well as within a team and can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities 

• Build and nurture Astriaâs community across social media channels, including Discord and Twitter
• Proactively suggest growth strategies and be a voice for Astriaâs brand
• Develop engagement within the Astria community while triaging and resolving community issues
• Manage inbound and direct to appropriate team leads for further due diligence
• Work closely with Marketing for content creation and calendar
• Establish best social media security practices and bot detection
• Live and breathe the crypto industry and be the first to know about the latest

Requirements

• Previous experience leading community efforts for an infrastructure company
• A cool head and balanced approach to community building (weâre a serious company, but like to have fun)
• 3+ years of experience building community
• Previous crypto experience 
• Discord and Twitter native
