We pride ourselves on our cutting-edge technologies, exceptional customer service, and collaborative work environment.  We seek a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team.

This is a fully remote, full-time position.

As a Cloud/DevOps/SRE Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud environment's security, stability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cloud Infrastructure Development & Management:
    1. Design, deploy, and administer scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS.
    2. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to facilitate scalable infrastructure deployments.
  2. DevOps Integration & CI/CD Pipelines:
    1. Develop and streamline continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing tools such as Jfrog, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
    2. Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate code deployments and facilitate a DevOps culture.
  3. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE):
    1. Develop and implement SRE frameworks, including crafting Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
    2. Monitor system health, ensuring high availability and performance, and respond promptly to incidents to minimize downtime.
    3. Assist in implementing monitoring solutions to ensure system health and to identify issues proactively.
    4. Participate in the incident response process, helping to restore services in case of outages and learning to manage system recoveries.
    5. Help in setting up monitoring systems using tools like NewRelic, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk to ensure system stability and performance.
    6. Participate in developing alerting mechanisms to notify teams of potential issues proactively.
  4. Container Technology Integration:
    1. Implement and manage container orchestration solutions using technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
    2. Develop and maintain containerized applications, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
  5. Security & Compliance:
    1. Implement and manage security controls, ensuring system integrity and compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
    2. Work closely with the security team to monitor for vulnerabilities and implement necessary patches and updates.
    3. Support compliance initiatives by adhering to established IT policies and guidelines.
  6. Collaboration & Documentation:
    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cohesive and innovative solutions.
    2. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining system architecture, procedures, and best practices.
    3. Document procedures, configurations, and specifications, ensuring that knowledge is effectively shared across the team.
    4. Contribute to the maintenance of a knowledge base to facilitate continuous learning and team development.
    5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop solutions accordingly.
    6. Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team skills and expertise.
    7. Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and procedures.
  7. Professional Development:
    1. Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in the cloud and DevOps space.
    2. Take part in internal and external training to develop the necessary skills and knowledge for career growth.


  1. Educational Background:
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Certification Requirements:
    1. Certifications in cloud technologies like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
    2. Certifications in container technologies such as Docker Certified Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are highly desirable.
  3. Experience:
    1. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with cloud computing, DevOps practices, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
    2. Proven experience in implementing and managing containerized environments.
  4. Skills:
    1. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    2. Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
    3. Expertise in implementing and managing container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  5. Personal Attributes:
    1. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
    2. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
    3. A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in team environments and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.

Additional Requirements:

  1. A willingness to continually learn and adapt to the evolving technology landscape.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
All work must be conducted within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories. Some federal contracts require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment.

As the US Government is our clientele, you may be required to obtain a public trust or security clearance.

Some of our available roles are on federal contracts that require a degree or additional years of experience as a substitute.
