Role Overview We are a growing manufacturing business based in Australia, producing sheds, playgrounds, and animal enclosures with a strong in-house production and marketing operation.

We are seeking a Senior Social Media & Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant to take ownership of our social media presence, content execution, and ongoing digital visibility as we expand into new markets. This role will initially focus on social media content editing, posting, and consistency, with the opportunity to expand into Google Ads support once trust, familiarity, and performance are established.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management (Primary Focus)

  • Edit and prepare video and image content supplied by the internal team

  • Schedule and post content consistently across:

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • LinkedIn

  • TikTok

  • (Optional / future: Reddit)

  • Ensure brand consistency, tone, and quality across all platforms

  • Manage captions, hashtags, and basic engagement where required

  • Maintain a reliable posting cadence aligned with business growth

  • Content Execution & Light Strategy

  • Assist with content planning and scheduling

  • Provide input on content structure, trends, and best practices (based on experience)

  • Collaborate with the business to refine what content performs best

  • Adapt approach based on platform performance and feedback

  • Google Ads Support (Secondary / Growth Phase)

  • Support Google Ads management once onboarded and aligned

  • Assist with:

  • Monitoring campaigns

  • Reviewing spend and performance

  • Making recommendations (under guidance)

  • Work alongside existing internal and external Google Ads resources

  • (This responsibility will be phased in, not expected immediately)

Working Hours & Location

  • Part-time (20 hours/week) or Full-time (40 hours/week)

  • Fully remote

  • Candidates based in:

  • Philippines (preferred for AU timezone alignment), or

  • South Africa (timezone-flexible role)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–4+ years experience in social media or digital marketing

  • Strong content editing and execution skills (video + visual)

  • Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently

  • Comfortable working with supplied content rather than filming

  • Experience working with established businesses (not influencer-only accounts)

  • Confident managing multiple platforms without constant supervision

  • Willing to grow into paid ads support over time

Engagement & Expectations

  • Senior-level hire — no hand-holding or entry-level training required

  • NDA and cybersecurity policies in place

  • Portfolio required (social accounts and/or content samples)

  • Initial contract: 2 months, then month-to-month

  • Long-term relationship preferred

$500 - $700 a month
