Position: SEC Reporting Manager Location: US (Remote) Reports to: Director - Accounting & Corporate Controller

Who You Are: You are an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of public company filing requirements and the skill set to drive process improvements as the company prepares for scale and, potentially, the public markets. You have a strong command of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, along with a proven ability to analyze and document key technical accounting policies and positions. You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and are comfortable building technical accounting and reporting infrastructure from the ground up, including establishing reporting calendars, implementing controls, and coordinating cross-functional teams. You’re proactive, highly organised, and an excellent communicator who can translate complex financial information into clear, investor-facing narratives. You’re also passionate about mentoring others, fostering education around public company requirements, and helping build a world-class technical accounting and reporting function that’s audit- and investor-ready.

Experience/Education/Certifications Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. - CPA is required. - 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in high-growth and dynamic environments. - 1+ year of specific experience leading SEC filings.. - Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and public company disclosure requirements. - 2 yrs + experience working in or with public companies; experience working with private companies focused on public company readiness is highly preferred. - Proficiency with DFIN, Workiva or similar SEC reporting platforms. - Familiarity with AI tools or intelligent agents used to streamline reporting workflows, enhance data quality, or automate documentation. - Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and documentation standards. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to draft and review financial disclosures and investor materials with clarity and precision. - Strong project management skills; ability to set timelines, coordinate across teams, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Experience mentoring or educating cross-functional teams on reporting processes, public company standards, and compliance expectations.
