Cross Border Talents is actively looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join our client. Our client is fast-growing non-profit social enterprise with different office locations in Europe and Africa. Our client builds digital platforms that supports young women. Our client has a fast-paced, informal, and friendly work environment.

CANDIDATES from EUROPE this is for you:

As a DevOps Team Lead you will be responsible for managing and leading the team as well as being able to follow management tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the DevOps team's tasks with the different teams projects.
• Making sure the infrastructure that is develop is secure (information security & personal data).
• Leading and developing your team members as well as yourself.
• Documenting your work in order to make sure that it can be understandable for future use.
• Working in an agile way.
• Building, configuring and maintaining the framework needed by the client's software. (Automating the creation, maintenance, and monitoring of the framework)
• Setting up, testing, and maintaining the frameworks of tools that the client use in order to support their software development and launch.
• Being responsible for optimizing the flow of work from build to release.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a DevOps.
• Experience managing a team of DevOps Engineers is a plus.
• Previous experience with Kubernetes container orchestration (using K8s within AWS ecosystem).
• You have previous experience working with Cloud tools (using AWS, RDS, EC2, SQS).
• Experince with Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, and Github Actions is a plus.
• You are currently based in Portugal/South Africa.
• You are fluent in English.
