The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products and growth features.
What we are looking for:
+5 years experience with Ruby on Rails.
Experience working with the libraries like Resque and RSpec.
Ability to write clean Ruby code.
Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial.
Experience with Angular or React.js.
Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.
Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
Knowledge of server-side templating languages including Slim and Liquid.
Familiarity with testing tools.
Nice-to-have:
Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours).
Knowledge of TypeScript.
Responsibilities:
Designing and developing new web applications.
Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
Integrating data storage solutions.
Creating backend components.
Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
Integrating user-facing elements designed by the frontend team.
Connecting applications with additional web servers.
Maintaining the APIs.
