The Lead Quality Assurance Specialist works directly with the QA Supervisor and engineering team, developing and performing quality control tests on the EF platform. The person in this role has solid QA experience in identifying root causes of problems and is able to recommend and/or implement corrective measures and debugging procedures to ensure that our platform and systems work correctly.
Here’s a look at some of the tasks and processes you’ll be responsible for:
- Draft proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outline specific criteria and conditions to be applied
- Assist in leading team in executing test plans on pre-release platform features by verifying functionality, data content, performance, usability and compatibility
- Develop systems to gather data during testing at the quality control stage of processes
- Study data gathered during testing and evaluate the validity of the results to ensure they meet organizations and customers quality and product integrity requirements
- Review and analyze bug data to identify trends in feature quality
- Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences
- Work with team to triage and prioritize issues for resolution
- Develop ongoing quality control testing procedures to be incorporated into the regular production process
- Oversee and train team on best practices to troubleshoot errors and issues
