A technology executive with more than 30 years of experience, Delbert Yocam serves is a cofounder and the managing partner of Yocam Holdings, LLC, located in Bellevue, Washington. He provides independent consulting to the firm's clientele and endeavors to generate investment opportunities in the pharmacogenomics and emerging technology sectors. In addition, Delbert Yocam offers his business insight as a member of the company's board of directors.
He previously held senior leadership positions with such entities as Borland International and Tektronix, Inc., a computer graphics, test equipment, and television systems manufacturer in Beaverton, Oregon. In his role as COO with the latter, Delbert Yocam fulfilled a three-year contract to position the company for long-term success. He guided a number of research and spending initiatives that resulted in a 38 percent increase in revenue from new products.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Yocam earned a bachelor's degree in industrial management and marketing from California State University, Fullerton. He received a master of business administration from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, he has twice completed the executive program at the Harvard Business School.
