Anthony Perrone MD

An accomplished physician, Anthony Perrone, MD, serves as the chief plastic surgeon at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta. In this capacity, he leads a unique team of practitioners in providing plastic and reconstructive surgical services to patients in central Maine. Anthony Perrone, MD, largely focuses his own practice on providing reconstructive and functional care to patients who are have traumatic injury, congenital issues, and oncologic processes.

Throughout his career and education, Dr. Perrone has received numerous awards and honors. He was named chapter president of the Rho Chi National Pharmacy Honor Society while pursuing his bachelor's degree in pharmacy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and he earned the university's Student Government Student Leadership and Mylan Excellence in Pharmacy awards. While receiving his doctor of medicine at Dartmouth Medical School, he earned membership to the Dartmouth chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha and the Merck Manual Award. Further, Dr. Anthony Perrone was awarded the Payson-Hampers MD/MBA Scholars Award from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
