Dr. Mario Tarquino

A staff physician with University Medical Center, Dr. Mario Tarquino practices as anesthesiologist with Integrated Pain Specialists, where he provides a full range of services to Las Vegas patients. In addition to managing medical issues related to pain, he guides staff and medical office administration. American Board of Anesthesiology certified, Dr. Mario Tarquino maintains qualification to practice in Arizona and Nevada.

Dr. Tarquino attended California State University, Northridge, in the early 1980s and earned a degree in biology. He subsequently completed his medical doctor at Harvard Medical School and pursued a residency in anesthesiology at Tufts University’s New England Medical Center. He completed his medical education with a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Dr. Tarquino is an experienced researcher in his field and co-authored “Treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension with Inhaled Nitric Oxide During Hepatic Transplantation in an Adolescent: Reversibility of Pulmonary Hypertension after Transplantation” (Clinical Pediatrics 37, 1998).
