Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva

Medical Director and Professor of Pediatrics Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva

An administrator with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for the last four years, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva established both the Department for Subspecialty Pediatrics and the Quality Division. At present, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva is overseeing a national AAP initiative to implement the Project ECHO approach in pediatrics. He also serves as principal investigator for a quality improvement project funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.


Dr. Sachdeva previously directed a wide range of departments and programs for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Before leaving the hospital in 2012, he developed and implemented strategies to expand its quality function to an integrated health system level.


In addition to his extensive administrative experience, Dr. Sachdeva has taught at the Medical College of Wisconsin since 2008. As a professor of pediatrics, he provides clinical instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows.
