As owner of Mobile Eye Care/SEEN Vision Care, Dr. Baseem Wahab leads a Dearborn, Michigan enterprise that offers remote eye examinations to assisted living and nursing home residents. Dr. Baseem Wahab pioneered the use of the iPad for office/medical use and remote access to medical records. He also leads Eyes on You Image and Practice Consultants, which offers primary eye care providers clinical and financial consultations designed to improve profit margins and net efficiencies. He has lectured widely on the intricacies of starting and managing a successful practice.
Dr. Wahab previously guided Vision Services at Cigna Healthcare as director, managing a vision department spanning 10 centers and 250,000 members. With an emphasis on decreasing personnel and goods costs, his efforts increased productivity within a $3 million division that encompassed 19 providers.
Dr. Baseem Wahab also has past experience as a managing member with OPTICA Inc., which served as a beta site for several vision technology companies. In this position, he helped set in place technologically sound optometric office protocols that were adopted by numerous providers across the United States.
