As Executive Vice President of Health Science and Regulatory Affairs for The Medicines Company, Dr. Loretta Itri draws on draws on her extensive experience in pharmaceutical development. She first entered the field at Hoffman La Roche, Inc. where as Assistant Vice President she oversaw the clinical development for medications in the immunology, hematology-oncology, infectious disease, and antiviral disciplines. Dr. Loretta Itri then went on to join the team at Johnson & Johnson, where she was Vice President of Clinical Research at the R. W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute.

Dr. Loretta Itri also stands out as past Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs Worldwide for Ortho Biotech, Inc. There, she played a key role in the development of therapeutic product lines in the hematology, immunology, and oncology fields. She joined her current company in 2012 as Senior Vice President for cardiovascular care, in which role she led global efforts surrounding calcium channel blockers and other related medications. Dr. Itri now manages all aspects of clinical proceedings on a global scale.
