Pilot (YC W17) is looking for a Visual Designer to join our remote team on a mission to create a more open worldwide job market.
A bit about who we are
Pilot helps companies to handle payroll, benefits, and compliance for their remote teams. What you will be working on
- By joining you'll be an important part of our Marketing team and you'll help to shape everything from the website to social media to apparel, to brand, and more
- Design engaging landing pages and content layouts from start to finish
- Create simple and elegant visual designs and systems for our content base
- Collaborate with our Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to create integrated campaigns that reach across multiple platforms
Requirements
- You have skill and experience in creating compelling visual designs
- You'll be able to work with our design system to match and extend our design style for internal use (newsletters, blog, website)
- Extensive experience with Figma or Sketch
- The ability to manage projects and be creative within the constraints of deadlines and teamwork. You can give yourself the space to be creative, but you know when it's time to ship
- Demonstrated understanding of web app design best practices and principles
We’d especially like to talk to you if
- You have outstanding visual communication skills, including graphic design and data visualization
- You have experience with creating animations
- You have an understanding of UI and UX principles and how to apply them
- You are independent enough to work with limited specifications
- You’ve had a chance to work in a distributed team
- You have been a part of a high growth start-up before
Benefits
- Annual salary from $46,700 to $73,200 and up to 0.0125% of equity
