Hi! We’re amazee.io, a global Open Source Managed Service Provider with a fully remote team spanning Asia Pacific, Americas, and EMEA time zones. We manage hosting services for our clients worldwide, and our mission is to be the foremost open web hosting company providing technical advice, support, and a platform that is scalable, reliable, flexible and secure, built collaboratively with our customers.

We’re looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our remote team. As a Technical Account Manager with amazee.io you’ll be supporting our mission by ensuring our customer’s success in using our services. You’ll provide advice and insights to the customer on the health and status of their engagement with us, helping them develop a long term project roadmap, and long term relationship with amazee.io. 

You’ll be key to the long term success of amazee.io, spotting opportunities to further develop your clients’ relationships and engagements with our services, and ensuring we maintain a reputation of being collaborative and trustworthy. What you’ll be doing: 
  • Guiding and building long term, strategic relationships with amazee.io’s customers
  • Delivering key information and updates to stakeholders, whether it be via zoom, or face to face
  • Providing strategic advice to customers, including on technical and architectural matters
  • Helping to implement best practices, from automation, devops, security, to development
  • Empowering customers to leverage Lagoon and the broader platform to its fullest
  • Escalating customer impacting issues to internal teams (e.g. product, support, platform)
  • Communicating via gifs and emojis

What you’ll bring: 
  • Experience guiding long term client relationships relating to Cloud, Managed Services, PaaS or SaaS solutions 
  • Experience in web hosting, and technologies that surround that
  • Comfort discussing technical topics with clients, and turning these discussions into viable solutions
  • A collaborative and honest approach to team and client relationships
  • Comfort communicating in English 

Work location:
  • Location is not important, although we have a preference for an EMEA time zone for your working hours
