About us  Circuit’s on a path to completely rebuilding the delivery experience, an area that hasn’t seen any significant change in decades.

Gone will be the days where you need to wait in all day to receive a package, where you have to wait for 3 failed attempts to be able to pick it up from the depot, or where you’re forced to stay in to sign for something you consider unimportant.

Already powering 250M deliveries per year, and rapidly scaling to 1B and beyond, this is an opportunity to join a fast-growing company set to influence the lives of hundreds of millions of people.

Why you should join  Circuit is a product-led company. Since day one, we’ve focussed on solving user needs in the best way possible. We believe the best way to grow the business is to create world-class products that provide our users with the most value. We can proudly say this has earned us a 4.7/5 rating, and 50,000 subscribed users - making Circuit the fastest growing app in its category. You’ll join the product team alongside 2 designers, and help shape the future of the products as well as the product team.

About you  You’re passionate about making products that solve hard problems, and take great ownership in doing so. You care about holistically understanding the problem space and building deep knowledge of our different types of users. You want to uncover the problems that need solving the most, and understand it so well that designing a great solution becomes almost trivial.

As a UX Researcher, you’ll be involved in almost every aspect of our product development. You help with strategic decisions by collaborating on hypotheses and conducting research to make sure we’re operating on top of a deep level of user understanding. You help during the building phase by validating our solutions as early as possible, and continuously collaborating with the team.

You help us bring the products to their global maximum, not their local maximum.

What you’ll be doing  - Dive into our products, users, and industry and come up with hypotheses autonomously - Be involved in the early and late stages of product development to form and/or catch hypotheses - Find the most effective and efficient way of validating our assumptions, both qualitative and quantitative - Work with design and engineering and decide on the easiest possible mockups or prototypes that get us the maximal amount of learnings - Conduct regular user tests and interviews - Occasional field research (once it’s safe to do) - Share your findings in a way that’s easy to consume for the rest of the team, so we’re always operating on a shared understanding of our users - Find ways to make the product more efficient, to the point of shaving milliseconds of core interactions

You’ll be successful if  - You help ship products that are better at solving our users problems - You help speed up product development by taking out a lot of the guesswork

We’re looking for someone with  - 5+ years experience as UX Researcher - Strong knowledge of UX methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative - Strong written communication skills - Experience working together closely with designers - Understanding of effective product development - Knowledge of design tools (Figma) to turn existing designs into testable prototypes

Nice to have - Previous experience working in a startup - Previous experience leading a UXR team - Used to working remote - fully and permanently

We offer  - $91k Salary - Equity and Stipend - Fully remote work - The ability to work flexibly - Swift decision making and flat hierarchies - A high degree of autonomy in your work
