JustWatch is an international streaming guide and an entertainment marketing startup, founded in 2014 in Berlin. Over 20 million users in 80 countries (and counting!) use JustWatch to find movies and TV shows they love and where they can easily watch them. Our mission is to become the biggest entertainment advertising company worldwide, and are growing our engineering teams to get there.

The infrastructure team sits right at the intersection of engineering teams at JustWatch. We build tools that shape how engineers deliver code to tens of millions of users around the world, and we strive to make it an exceptional experience.

Our mission is made possible by creating an infrastructure that is based on an open source foundation, yet shaped by software we develop to reach the right level of convenience. We are not a team of trend chasers nor archaeologists - our infrastructure is built by pragmatically choosing modern pieces of technology over reinventing the wheel. When faced with a problem that isn’t solved already, we build the solution. When faced with an uncertain ecosystem, we observe the development, learn and go with more robust choices. 

We are interested in the value you can bring rather than years of experience, the knowledge of every piece of our tech stack or well curated references. Do you have a side project? Our stack

Our stack consists of Golang, Kubernetes, Prometheus, ScyllaDB, PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch all running on Google Cloud Platform, and you will play an integral role in shaping and evolving our tech stack.

We love challenging goals. We question everything. We are always learning, and we are excellent in execution. We believe in the 80/20 rule and try to apply common sense and pragmatism to everything.
