FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Freelance Graphic Designer is a part-time position that assists with graphic design and brand development for one-off projects as needed. There is no minimum or maximum number of hours guaranteed.
This is a part-time position, however, the ideal candidate will also be available to temporarily fill in full-time for Momentum’s Art Director while they are on maternity leave later this year (November 22 – December 31, 2021).
We are looking to hire this position before the end of August 2021. They will work as a Freelance Graphic Designer as they are trained to take over as Art Director and will likely have the opportunity to remain on staff as a Freelance Graphic Designer or full-time Senior Graphic Designer after the temporary position is over.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as a Graphic Design Intern at Momentum or 5+ years of graphic designer experience
- Strong proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop
- Self-motivation to complete tasks independently
- High level of teachability
- Comfortable working with a fully Remote Team
- Degree/certification in graphic design encouraged, but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work cooperatively with Art Director and Senior Graphic Designers to complete tasks and projects on time
- Openly communicate availability and expectations for deadlines
- Adhere to Momentum SOPs to meet and exceed project expectations
- Develop design concepts that meet business objectives of the client and advance brand strategy
- Maintain a consistent look and feel (brand personality) throughout all assets
- Stay current with design trends and tools
- Consistently communicate progress on tasks through Teamwork project management system
- Complete all projects as instructed by Art Director or Senior Graphic Designers

COMPENSATION
