We are seeking a digital marketing associate to join our remote team! In this crucial role, you will work across different channels to deliver best-in-class marketing initiatives. This role is an opportunity to learn different marketing disciplines and grow into the one that you have the most passion for.
To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with Email marketing, website maintenance on Shopify, and have a good understanding of SEO fundamentals.

As our Digital Marketing associate you will;
Email
- Work with the email manager to create strategic email and SMS campaigns (broadcasts and logic driven automations)
- Build the email and SMS automation structure and functions for multi hundred+ deep drip campaigns
- Generate and analyze data to improve targeted campaigns
- Develop contact strategies, targeting specific subsets based on Dalstrong’s targeted audience, such as segmented contact lists based on location and tags
- Identify email and SMS best practices based on effective campaign timing
SEO
- Work with SEO manager to apply best practices for content marketing
- Work with web developers to implement technical fixes on different websites
- Adhere to best SEO practices when editing blogs from content team
- Stay up to date with trends and changes to search engine algorithms
Website Maintenance
- Work with web manager to maintain the highest digital standards
- Update product listings, collection pages, branded web pages
- Proactively suggest new processes or tools to improve the site
- Monitor for user experience issues
- Competitive analysis
To be successful you should have;
- 3 + years of marketing experience
- Native English Fluency and exceptional English writing skills
- Proven ability in launching successful campaigns
- Passion for digital marketing
- Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
- Experience with writing and or editing written content
- Strong experience with email and SMS marketing systems ideally Klaviyo, Retention Science, and ActiveCampaign
- Proven experience setting up email marketing campaigns including creating triggers
- The ability to design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly
- Strong proofreading skills to review messages and email templates
- Graphic design experience creating banners and product images is an asset
- Familiarity with SMS marketing is a plus
- YouTube maintenance is a plus
