Peter Anastasi

Recently retired from United Parcel Service (UPS), Peter Anastasi served the company for more than 30 years. He filled a variety of positions, ranging from supply chain and logistics management to operations oversight, and developed a reputation for the skillful development of goal-oriented solutions. Particularly focused on fulfillment and delivery in the pharmaceutical industry, Peter Anastasi collaborated with client companies to create actionable packaging and transit solutions for products requiring temperature-controlled shipping.

Peter Anastasi helped develop the UPS Global Control Tower's standard operating procedure (SOP) for cold-chain logistics, as well as various other methodologies. Focused on global transportation efficiency, he established key performance indicators to assess success for a variety of client organizations. He also played a key role in a number of continuous-improvement initiatives, also targeted at optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Mr. Anastasi studied marketing at Boston University, where he earned a bachelor of science in sociology. He completed his degree while serving UPS on a full-time basis, having joined the company in 1983. He retired in 2016.
