With career achievements spanning a wide range of fields, Robin Capehart guided West Liberty University as president until 2015. Drawing upon achievements as private practice attorney and director of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, Robin Capehart led sustained expansion efforts that boosted West Liberty University’s enrollment and overall community participation with the school.
He has also held leadership responsibilities with the American Association of Colleges and Universities, and served on the NCAA’s Committee on Budget and Planning. He presently guides the consulting firm Georgetown Solution, LLC, and is also engaged in the production of family and faith-friendly films. Among the well-received films in which he was involved are “A Christmas Tree Miracle,” starring Kevin Sizemore, and “Believe,” the family-friendly story of a small-town business owner struggling to make the right choice.
Mr. Capehart’s legal background includes serving as a cabinet secretary of the Department of Tax and Revenue and as chief administrative law judge for the Office of Hearings and Appeals in West Virginia’s State Tax Department. After completing his JD, he went on to pursue a master’s of law in taxation at Georgetown University.
