J Michael Puckett DDS

J. Michael Puckett, DDS, draws on over 20 years of dentistry experience at his Jamestown, North Carolina-based private practice. In addition to routine dental services, J. Michael Puckett, DDS, performs root canals, TMJ treatment, tooth extractions, oral cancer screenings, and various other procedures.

Recognized by America's Top Dentists in 2003-2004 for his expertise in cosmetic dentistry and esthetic restorations, Dr. Puckett employs the use of diode dental lasers in his practice as a source for periodontal therapy, frenal attachment removal, and gingival contouring. Additionally, he performs full mouth makeovers for patients who have experienced damage as a result of sporting or car accidents.

Since establishing his practice, J. Michael Puckett, DDS, has accepted several local high school students for mentorship, one of which now works full-time as a dental assistant in his office and several have gone to Dental and Medical School. After receiving a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University, he earned his doctor of dental surgery from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1993. He has since completed postgraduate programs at UCLA and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
