With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Brett David Stephan serves as creative director for The Line Group in New York City, where he maintains responsibility for operating Leave Rochelle Out of It, a Lower East Side bar offering premium cocktails and a wide selection of whiskey. He came to this role having worked for EMM Group, also located in New York. Within EMM Group, Brett David Stephan held the roles of maître d' and front-of-house manager for The General, a 220-seat, club-style restaurant.
He also served as Anna Wintour’s personal butler for five years and took the lead in catering Chelsea Clinton’s wedding.
In 2003, Mr. Stephan graduated from Baruch College of the City University of New York (CUNY) with a bachelor of arts in history. When not working at The Line Group, he enjoys a diverse array of hobbies, including writing poetry, making clothes, and watching movies, in addition to staying active through skateboarding.
