A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, Dr. Ari Kellen earned his bachelor of surgery and bachelor of medicine degree with distinction. He also received his master of business administration with distinction from the Johannesburg-based university. From 1991 through 2013, Dr. Ari Kellen served with McKinsey & Company, most recently as a senior partner, where he oversaw several aspects of corporate strategy for a range of clients.
From performance turnarounds to revenue and change management, Dr. Kellen was involved with a number of different divisions, including health care services, medical devices, and pharmaceutical services.
After leaving McKinsey & Company, he joined Valeant Pharmaceuticals as an executive vice president. Dr. Kellen oversees three different business divisions.
