A premed student pursuing a business major at Loyola University Chicago, Raihan Sayeed already has received critical professional medical training by shadowing experienced doctors over the course of their daily rounds. To date, he has worked with Dr. Zeba Shakir at her private Homewood, Illinois, practice and Dr. Prem Rupani at Sinai Medical Group in Chicago. Raihan Sayeed is also currently volunteering in the Emergency Department of the Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois.
Ray Sayeed enrolled at Loyola University after a successful career at Frankfort, Illinois' Lincoln-Way East High School, where he maintained a 3.1 GPA while serving as both a Student Ambassador and Vice President of his school's Future Business Leaders of America club. Outside of the academic setting, Raihan Sayeed was also a devoted member of the Key Club at his local Kiwanis organization. In the summer between his graduation from Lincoln-Way East and his matriculation at Loyola, Ray Sayeed attended summer school at Moraine Valley Community College, where he earned A's in three college communications courses.
In his free time, Raihan Sayeed is a skilled musician who has sung and played piano at competitive events such as the USA World Musical Showcase, where he earned a second-place national finish in the category of Youth Group Vocals. Mr. Sayeed is also an experienced tennis player and golfer who holds active membership in the Chicago District Golf Association. Volunteerism and social service have also played an important role in Raihan Sayeed's life. In addition to the community projects that he has undertaken as a member of the Kiwanis Key Club, he provides ongoing support to 50 underprivileged students at India's Crescent High School.
