Meredith Sossman

A trained attorney and nonprofit administrator in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Meredith Sossman has served as campaign director, associate executive director, and in-house counsel with West Chester University (WCU) Foundation since 2010; WCU previously employed Meredith Sossman as director of major gifts and gift planning. Her accomplishments with WCU include implementing structural changes that resulted in a 202-percent increase in incoming gifts within a 12-month period and spearheading a new human resources program that resulted in a 70-percent increase in retention and satisfaction of staff. In 2012, the National Association of Professional Women named Ms. Sossman its Woman of the Year.

In addition to her work with WCU, Meredith Sossman performs consulting services through Virtualgiving.com, an organization that advises nonprofits on matters such as planned giving and partnership building. Her primary areas of focus include helping nonprofits attract and retain talented employees. She also sits on the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry Small Business Committee.
