Karen Auer

With a wealth of accounting knowledge, Karen Auer offers coordinated solutions spanning auditing, financial reporting, and government reporting. Based in Garden City, New York, Karen Auer also provides forensic accounting and litigation solutions and works with clients that include employee benefit plans, labor unions, and nonprofits.

An alumna of Queens College, City University of New York, with a BA in accounting, Ms. Auer initially engaged as a staff accountant with a savings institution and subsequently held a junior accountancy position. In the late 1990s, she joined Armao LLP, where she worked her way up to her current leadership position through an emphasis on accuracy and professionalism. Managing major clients for the firm, she is knowledgeable on Taft-Hartley multi-employer benefit plans and other facets of operations.

Active in her professional community, Karen Auer maintains membership with the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has also served on the Board of Women Economic Developers of Long Island and is a past trustee of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bethpage.
