For over a decade Brian D. Eliason has served as president of Northern Fisheries Ltd., a frozen seafood supplier based in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Under his direction, the company distributes a diverse array of products to major food service companies, retailers, and restaurant franchises throughout North America, South America, and the Caribbean. On a previous outing fishing in the Florida Keys, he cast with a Raghead Crab fly and set the world record for the largest fly-caught permit, reeling in a fish weighing 51 pounds and measuring 34 inches in girth and 48 inches in length. Also a proponent of ocean and river conservation, he supports the work of Ocean Trust to enhance marine environments and fisheries, as well as the efforts of the World Wildlife Fund to protect and restore freshwater ecosystems.
