Robert Wiebel

Since 2008, Robert “Bobby” Wiebel has worked as director of operations for the food-packaging firm Econo-Pak and its branches in Newton, NJ, and Milford, PA. In this role, he oversees both plants' daily operations and the 450 employees who work at the two facilities. A resident of Sparta, NJ, Robert “Bobby” Wiebel works closely with managers to determine where operations can be made more efficient and effective. He also deals with project scheduling and budgeting and is responsible for all internal audits. To help him in this job, he has completed Kraft Foods-administered food safety and sanitation training and obtained Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification.

Prior to taking on this position, Robert Wiebel spent three years working in logistics for the medical device processing company North American Sterilization and Packaging in Franklin, NJ. Here he dealt with the inventory for medical devices and provided ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization support for medical products.

In his spare time, Robert Wiebel stays active outdoors and enjoys skiing, hiking, fishing, and playing golf. A supporter of various organizations, including the Sparta Police Department, he is an avid traveler and studied art in Florence, Italy, for two months. He has also visited Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, and Greece.
