Tammy Allison

With more than two decades of experience working in nursing, registered nurse Tammy Allison owns and operates Tammy Allison HIT Consulting, LLC, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Heading the healthcare information technology firm, she works as educational team lead for Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire. She began working with the hospital in April 2016, and oversees the curricula and training schedules for super users and end users hospital wide as well as the ambulatory practices.

Before she began working with the New Hampshire hospital, Tammy Allison worked as an Epic support analyst for the ambulatory division with the Deaconess Health System in Evansville, Indiana. She was also an Epic support analyst for the anesthesia and Optime department for the Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. She began her professional career at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Here she spent more than 15 years in a variety of roles, including clinical III emergency department RN, clinical III post-anesthesia care unit RN, and trauma program manager.

Tammy Allison earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina and furthered her education with a master’s degree in business administration from Kaplan University in Davenport, Iowa.
