Bashir Audu

A graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, Bashir Abubakar Audu holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering. While attending Purdue, he completed a scheduling internship with White Construction in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a project engineering internship with Skanska USA Building in Southfield, Michigan. Bashir Abubakar Audu went on to serve several years as a traveling engineer with IEA Renewable Energy, providing on-site operational and risk-management assessments for the company’s turbine-based wind farms.

Bashir Audu places a high value on effective mass transportation and infrastructure that incorporate renewable energy and sustainable value. With that in mind, he currently serves as a project controls and accounting professional for an interdisciplinary cost-management and scheduling team on a $1.1 billion paving and bridge project on highway I-35E. Mr. Audu’s specific duties include the preparation of monthly P&L reports and quarterly forecasts and the negotiation of right-of-way acquisitions and utility relocations with municipalities and local businesses.
