Akanimo Udofia

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1969, Akanimo Udofia holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Nigeria's University of Uyo. He also completed the senior executive program at the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. Akanimo Udofia is currently building upon decades of experience in the Nigerian oil and gas industries as the managing director and chief executive officer at Desicon Engineering in Lagos.

In addition to generally defining the organizational operating model for Desicon, Akanimo Udofia handles a range of financial control functions and explores new company oil and gas prospects. He also directs human resource initiatives and communicates operational and ethical standards to all employees. Since joining Desicon in 1996, Mr. Udofia has grown company staff from approximately 100 to more than 4,000 members.

When he isn't busy at Desicon, he participates as a member of the Harvard Alumni Association and several international oil and gas organizations. He also donates to multiple regional and global charities.
