An experienced media relations director specializing in political positioning and crisis communications, Reid Walker works out of Washington, DC, as the director of communications for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell. Before assuming the position in February 2015, Reid Walker held a similar position with the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, where his responsibilities included writing speeches and op-ed pieces as well as advocacy on issues impacting Native Americans.

Before moving to Washington, DC, Reid Walker was principal of Incite, which he founded in 2012 as a communications advisory firm for small tech startup companies. He previously held vice president of communications roles with T-Mobile, Lenovo, and Honeywell. With the latter, he oversaw all communication strategy development for the company's $5 billion chemical division, completed the Honeywell Executive Development Program, and earned the Quest for Excellence Award. He has prior experience with General Electric, PSINet, and the Nasdaq Stock Market.

Mr. Walker holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy and mathematics from St. John's College and, in his free time, enjoys mountain climbing. He has successfully ascended Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker in Washington State as well as Mt. Shasta and Mt. Whitney in California.
