Robert Heist | Attorney

After graduating from the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Robert Heist earned a bachelor of arts in criminal justice from the University of Illinois and a juris doctor from John Marshall Law School. His law school accomplishments include serving as a research assistant and an advocacy justice for the Mock Trial Competition.

While practicing as an attorney, Robert Heist returned to the academic environment to earn a master of business administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. There, he completed three courses in director education at Harvard Business School - Audit Committees in a New Era of Governance, Making Corporate Boards More Effective, and Compensation Committees - New Challenges, New Solutions.

Since 2001, Robert Heist has owned and managed R Connor & Associates, PC, in Chicago, Illinois. This multifaceted firm also supports offices in Boston, Massachusetts, and in the Chicago suburb of Lake Forest, Illinois. For the past 7 years, Robert Heist has concurrently served as director and manager with the Hershey Trust Company and as a member of the board of managers for Milton Hershey School, his alma mater.
