Attending medical school directly after high school, Dr. Raj Dahiya matriculated at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine to begin a six-year degree program. While enrolled, he served as a Missouri state medical Brightflight scholar and received a fellowship from the Mid America Heart Institute. Dr. Raj Dahiya graduated with his doctor of medicine in 1994 and immediately began an internal medicine internship at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
After earning board certification in internal medicine in 1997, Dr. Raj Dahiya relocated to San Antonio, Texas, and completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He went on to practice as a radiation oncologist with several regional hospitals and medical centers.
Dr. Dahiya currently holds a rating of four out of five stars on Healthgrades.com and a perfect five-star rating on RateMDs. For the last four years, he has ranked as a Texas Super Doctor.
