Vikram Uppal Helped Found the Charitable Aid India Foundation

In 2002, entrepreneur Vikram Uppal co-founded the Aid India Foundation, a charitable organization based in San Francisco, California, that focuses on helping underprivileged communities in India obtain the basic resources necessary to develop self-reliance. He oversees the establishment of relationships with project implementation partners in India, through which the foundation funds the construction of homes and the provision of food, pharmaceuticals, and other essentials for Indian families facing material challenges. Also in charge of fundraising, Vik Uppal organizes Aid India events to promote the foundation's activities and encourage donations. Besides his work with Aid India, Vik Uppal has served on the board of several non-profits. He also supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and seeks to act as a mentor for others in his local area. Vik Uppal has visited more than 20 countries and enjoys hiking and exploring unfamiliar destinations.
