A respected presence on Broadway, Carl Levin has served as producer of films such as Rock of Ages and Pretty Persuasion. He also held executive producer roles guiding successful features such as Drive Thru and Barry Munday. Carl Levin’s involvement with Rock of Ages extended from the creation and conceptualization phase to putting together a successful Broadway production that was ultimately staged in locations across the globe and became the 28th longest-running show.

A New York Times’ Critics’ Pick show, the colorful, fast-paced musical has the foundations of rock n’ roll at its core, with iconic 80s songs such as “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and “Don’t Stop Believing” given a new life for contemporary audiences. It earned Mr. Levin a Tony Award nomination as producer of the best musical of 2009 and was followed by success with the Pulitzer prize winning play Disgraced in 2014, which tackles complex issues of multiculturalism and identity in contemporary American society.

Mr. Levin earned his undergraduate degree in history at Princeton University and attended the University of California for his law degree and the New York University School of Business for his MBA. His varied career has included a position with Morgan Stanley & Co. as vice president of investment banking and as co-founder of a national advertising agency.
