Kevin L. Murphy (Attorney)

Before beginning his career as an attorney, Kevin Luke Murphy obtained his undergraduate degree in English from the State University of New York and worked for two years as an English teacher at a junior high school in East Rockaway, New York. He subsequently returned to the academic environment, gaining admittance to the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, from which he went on to earn his juris doctor. With experience clerking for federal judge William O. Bertelsman, Kevin L. Murphy accepted responsibilities after his graduation as an associate attorney, first at the law firm of Wyatt Tarrant & Combs and later at the law firm of Keating Meuthing & Klekamp.

Following these roles, Mr. Murphy went into business for himself, opening a private practice in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. Over the course of nearly 20 years operating his firm, he represented a range of corporate and individual clients, including multiple Major League Baseball players and umpires. In 2006, he transitioned to a position as of counsel with Cincinnati’s Graydon Head & Ritchey, LLP, where he worked for the next nine years.

Since 2016, Kevin L. Murphy has served as a partner in the litigation law firm of Murphy Landen Jones, located in Fort Mitchell. Through the firm, he argues cases on behalf of individuals and small to medium-sized companies.
