Investment Executive Stewart Strawbridge

In January 2008, Stewart Strawbridge cofounded investment advisory firm Selkirk Partners, which a long short equity investment firm. As managing member, Stewart Strawbridge oversees marketing and business processes and controls. He is also responsible for stock selection, portfolio, and risk management, as well as research.

Mr. Strawbridge graduated from Bowdoin College with a BA in classics and archeology. A chartered financial analyst, he is affiliated with the CFA Institute and the Philadelphia Security Analyst Society.

He sits on the board of biotechnology firm Lyotropics, Inc. In addition, Mr. Strawbridge serves as a board member of the Bowdoin College Presidents Visiting Committee, the Brandywine River Museum and Conservancy, and the Natural Resources Council of Maine.

Stewart Strawbridge also remains involved with a number of charitable initiatives including the CURE Hydrocephalus program, which treats hydrocephalus in emerging countries through an international network of dedicated surgeons. Along with his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Strawbridge, he has raised more than $100,000 for Ugandan children in need of surgery to treat hydrocephalus.
