Bruce Amster

Independent Classic Car Restorer and Dealer

An independent automotive restorer and archivist, Bruce Amster has been working on classic racing cars for approximately 50 years. He possesses an extensive knowledge of pre- and post-war vehicles from the United States and Europe. He holds both American and European welding certifications, completed focused alloy training with Audi, and learned carbon fiber techniques at Aston Martin. Completing his carbon fiber training when this restoration technique was relatively new, Bruce Amster went on to execute carbon fiber repairs on Ferrari Challenge race cars. He has also restored multiple award-winning Alfa Romeos and an 1899 Columbia Electric Landaulet.

In addition to his restoration work, Bruce Amster facilitates sales transactions by finding automobiles for private clients and establishing connections between buyers and sellers. In an effort to locate and evaluate these vehicles, he travels extensively both domestically and abroad. Mr. Amster also visits foreign countries to research various automobiles and automotive parts. His favorite destinations include France, England, and Italy.
