Jeanette Stofleth

Born into a family that placed a high value on music and creativity, Jeanette Stofleth began teaching herself basic guitar chords as a Young teen in the mid-1990s. Her father nurtured her passion for music as he helped her and her brother, River James, transform their early musical experimentations into well-crafted songs. Jeanette and River James Stofleth siblings ultimately formed a band, Lightbow.

Shortly after Ms. Stofleth continued to perform in a small apartment in Seattle, Washington, and Lightbow became The Acoustics, featuring Jeanette as lead singer and multi-instrumentalist and River James as lead guitarist and backing vocalist. In the mid-2000s, The Acoustics released its first group album, Acoustic Revolution, shortly before Ms. Stofleth took a break from her musical pursuits to concentrate on other areas.

The Acoustics recently completed work on a new album, which is slated for release in 2017. Entitled As I, the album features mastering and sequencing by Dan Trager.
