Azadeh Khajavi, DMD, Focuses San Diego Practice on Dental Implants

A dentist who has worked in private practice since 1994, Azadeh Khajavi, DMD, earned a bachelor of science in biology and speech and communication at Portland State University, where she also served as a teaching assistant for the microbiology lab. Dr. Azadeh (aka Amy) Khajavi received a doctor of dental medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University and completed a post-graduate orthodontic program with the Mid-America Orthodontic Society. Through a fellowship with the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, she fulfilled training in the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder.

A fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Khajavi has attained a Master Clinician in Aesthetic Dentistry designation from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She also received a certificate for clinical achievement in full mouth reconstruction from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Khajavi currently directs a private dental clinic in San Diego, California. A member of the Implant Institute of California, she focuses her practice on dental implants but also provides cosmetic dentistry services and treats neuromuscular conditions, such as TMJ disorders.

Active in community service, Dr. Amy Khajavi has participated in Dentists Against Domestic Violence, an organization that provides free dental services for women who have been abused. She is also a certified Zumba instructor and enjoys diverse dance styles ranging from contemporary hip-hop to classic Persian forms.
