Dr. Mounir Boutros

Guiding Renaissance Dermatology in Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Mounir Boutros has about three decades of experience as a physician and board-certified psychiatrist. He also holds board certification in dermatology and serves patients in a number of communities spanning Northwest Ohio. Dr. Mounir Boutros is knowledgeable about caring for skin rashes, from psoriasis to eczema to acne etc., and can remove warts, moles, precancerous lesions, and skin cancers.

Among the in-house procedures he performs are cryosurgery and electrocautery of warts. In treating cysts and boils, Dr. Boutros regularly performs intralesional Kenalog injections. Working in tandem with the National Skin Foundation and The American Academy of Dermatology , he offers volunteer skin screenings in a number of venues, from hospitals to community centers. During May, which is national cancer awareness month, he regularly performs free skin cancer screenings and gives presentations to cancer support groups.

Dr. Boutros' decade with The Ohio State University included a pair of residencies and a faculty position as clinical assistant professor. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and has been to the Middle East,Caribbean Islands,Africa, Europe, and Asia. He is connecting with family members in Europe and Syria trying to find constructive ways to help people inflicted by the tragic war.
