Ludovico Iovino -- Ph.D. in Computer Science, currently Associate Professor at the GSSI – Gran Sasso Science Institute in L’Aquila. His interests include Model Driven Engineering(MDE), Model Transformations, Model Evolution, generative techniques, and model repositories. He has been investigating model-to-model transformations and issues related to the co-evolution problem for the last 5 years. He worked on model-to-code transformation development and traditional code-centric methods. He is one of the proposers of the MDEForge project, an infrastructure promoting software development as a service based on a modeling platform. He also founded the Edelta project, a model management tool supporting the co-evolution of models and metamodels. He published more than 90 papers in various journals, conferences, and workshops on such topics. He has been in the PC of several workshops and conferences, and reviewer of many journals like Software and Systems Modeling, Transactions on Software Engineering, and IEEE Software Theme Issue on Collaborative Modeling in Software Engineering. He is co-chairing the Models and Evolution workshop co-located with the MODELS conference from 2018. He has co-organized multiple field workshops and organized the "Smart City Looks Like..." summer school with the University of Milano Bicocca.
He's currently the coordinator of the CINI Smart Cities lab located at the GSSI in L'Aquila and he's also involved in the CUIM - center for urban informatics project. Recently he has been nominated City Advisor for the City of L'Aquila in the context of the ICC project with the main goal of guiding the digital transformation for the city of L'Aquila. Ludovico is also a member of the KTT Committee of the GSSI - KNOWLEDGE and TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER. He's currently leading an infomobility technology transfer project with the municipality and the local transport agency.
