Recently, J. Christopher "Chris" Llinas served as corporate counsel for the disaster restoration company Royal Plus, Inc. He currently operates a private practice in Ocean Pines, Maryland, that focuses on criminal and traffic defense, as well as construction and civil litigation. A member of the Maryland State Bar, Chris Llinas has worked in a legal capacity for several government institutions and has experience in both defending and prosecuting felony and misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases.
In his free time, Chris Llinas is an active long-distance runner and has finished 12 marathons in the last 15 years. He participated in three Ironman Triathlons, and he has raised nearly $7,000 for charity through the Ironman Foundation. Most recently, he ran the Boston Marathon in April of 2015.
Mr. Llinas holds a bachelor of arts in English from Salisbury University and earned his juris doctor from the Franklin Pierce Law Center, now named the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
