Matthew Syken

An experienced legal practitioner, Matthew E. Syken began training to become a lawyer at Marymount Manhattan College in New York, where he received a bachelor of arts in political science and completed internships with the United Nations and the New York City Housing Authority Law Department. After graduating with distinction as a member of the dean’s list, he gained acceptance to the Touro Law School in Long Island, where he served as a member of the student bar and completed a business and compliance program in London in association with Notre Dame Law School. Matthew E. Syken graduated with his juris doctor in 2005, and is presently working toward a master of business administration with an emphasis on management at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Matthew Syken utilizes his extensive legal and business training as general counsel and chief legal officer of Parex USA, Inc., a transnational chemical manufacturer and subsidiary of France’s ParexGroup SA based in Anaheim, California. In recognition of his work with the firm, he received a nomination as General Counsel of the Year from the Orange County Business Journal.
